Writer Director

ABOUT
Hi.
ABOUT
I'm an Austin based writer/director and creative with a background in
both narrative and unscripted media.
Starting out as a PA over a decade ago, I was able to land some cool jobs, working with the likes of Terrence Malick on To the Wonder, Nick Kroll on Kroll Show, and the fourth season of Arrested Development. (I have some good stories about Henry Winkler and Liza Minelli, just ask). I then moved into being a 1st AD for indie films and a field producer for reality TV. After making some industry connections, I went on to a full time writer and director position for the Warner Media subsidiary Rooster Teeth. I created multiple series and sketches with over a million views, with a focus on brand-integrated content. And have worked with the likes of Meow Wolf, OMEN Computers, State Farm, and McFarlane Toys. I moved up the ranks landing finally at, "Senior Project Director for Programming and Development."
I've written, directed, and produced shorts that have
played at LAFF, Mammoth, Hill Country, and Rockport Film
Festivals. I co-produced a podcast about filmmaking in
Texas, aptly titled How to Texas, with the narrative focused
production company I co-founded: The Direct Line.
I went to UT and graduated with a Radio / Television / Film degree. I teach classes on directing at The Austin School of Film, and the PA training class for Austin Film Society's Creative Careers initiative.
Oh, and I recently started trying to do drawn portraits (available for commission, very cheap). My pronouns are He/ They.
I'm a high volume creative, that values kindness, quality,
and punctuality with a strict, "No Jerks" policy. I produce
fun, out of the box, kinda surrealist work, and would love to
collaborate with you and your brand!
Thanks for stopping by.
